The Bell and Howell Linerless Labeler Applicator (LLA) is a robust, efficient and accurate tool used to provide a clear zone on letter and flat mail for barcode and mail ID printing. The LLA is one of the most widely used labelers in the industry. Known for reliability and quality, it is also one of the fastest mail labelers on the market with over 2,000 in operation from postal authorities to commercial sorting entities worldwide.

The LLA uses linerless label roll material—not substrate. Each label roll has more than 80,000 half-inch height labels per roll. The LLA is designed to take a roll of label material with industry-used label widths. Labels are created by cutting the label material into strips, and placing them on the face of the mailpiece, thus preparing them for an ID print. Labels are applied in the area you determine, away from the address block.

The LLA provides a blank white clear zone area for ID printing on busy advertising mail as well. The LLA can reach cut-and-apply throughputs of over 40,000 labels per hour.
